"My performances have to do-usually-with humor, pathos, failure, setbacks and collapse. They are usually based on my deafness but mainly looking for specific situations, objects, places and things to which to respond. During my stay in Buenos Aires I will discover these things and develop my performance. " Aaron Williamson Guest Artists

Interchange of Artistic Processes "Interchange of Artistic Processes" is an event and Coordinated by Monica Garcia Nelda Ramos
which is going to take place in the city of Buenos Aires once a year. Its objective is to interchange
and to know the work of argentinian and foreign artists.

This event is mainly supported by performances which can be presented in all its varieties, always
taking into account the diversity and the incorporation of technology to the new forms and
processes that are constantly emerging in contemporary language.

Only one foreign artist and ten argentinians -or residents in Argentina- will be invited to this event.
This is in order to make the event easier to carry out since it is being organized by artists who are
not currently being provided with any kind of financial support. We will take special care not to
repeat local artists in order to allow the participation of others.

These events include: real time performances, remedial classes , lectures and debates.

We intend to make performers know the work of their colleagues and assist to the lectures and
debates so that they can interchange material and experiment the culture of performance itself.
"Interchange of Artistic Processes" will take place between the 7th and the 12th of September in
2009 in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the activities schedule will be known soon.

The foreign artist invited this time is Aaron Williamson from the United Kingdom, you can see his

‘My performances usually involve humour, pathos, failure, setback and collapse. They are often informed by my being deaf, but more importantly I am looking for specific situations, objects, sites and ‘things’ to respond to. I will discover these and devise the performance during my time in Buenos Aires’. Aaron Williamson
